On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Amsterdam turns into one giant stage for culture. From 19:00 to 02:00, more than 70 museums and cultural institutions open their doors for the 26th edition of Museumnacht, all accessible with a single ticket for the whole night.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Amsterdam
The night runs from 19:00 until 02:00. During that time, visitors can move freely between participating museums, from the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum to many smaller institutions across the city. Each museum designs its own program around music, performance and its own collection, so the experience varies widely from one location to the next. The full 2026 program will be published on the official website in the autumn.
Tickets and Admission for Museumnacht Amsterdam
A single ticket grants access to every participating location for the night. The previous edition was priced at 25 euros, and the official price for 2026 has not yet been confirmed. The Museumkaart and I amsterdam City Card are not valid during Museumnacht, a dedicated Museumnacht ticket is required. Tickets typically sell out quickly, so buying early through the official website is recommended.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Amsterdam
- The city centre and its museums are well connected by tram and bus, driving is not recommended for the evening
- Since much of the night involves walking between museums, comfortable shoes and warm clothing for November are worth packing
