Welcome to the Weihnachtsmarkt Attendorn 2026 in Attendorn
The traditional Weihnachtsmarkt Attendorn 2026 transforms the Alter Markt in the Hanseatic town of Attendorn in Sauerland into a cozy Christmas village from 6 to 13 December. Between the Südsauerlandmuseum and the parish church, visitors find rustic wooden huts, mulled wine, regional specialties and a varied stage program. Admission is free.

Weihnachtsmarkt Attendorn 2026 traditionally runs for about ten days between the second and third Advent. Huts are generally open weekdays from 15:00 to 20:00 and on weekends from 11:00 to 20:00. The stage features regional artists, and Saint Nicholas makes his annual appearance. On the third Advent weekend (12–13 December) the market expands into a Christmas town with additional stalls throughout the city centre and a shopping Sunday.
