When Is A Summer Story 2027? (Dates Not Yet Confirmed)
An official date for 2027 has not been announced yet. Following the success of the anniversary edition, organizers confirmed that Madrid will once again become the capital of electronic music in 2027, but a specific date has not been released. Based on previous editions, a date in mid to late June 2027 is likely, following the pattern of past years (2025: June 20 and 21, 2026: June 19 and 20). Venue: Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey Near Madrid
The festival is traditionally held at Ciudad del Rock, a large event venue in Arganda del Rey, about 35 kilometers from Madrid. The site spans more than 200,000 square meters, was originally built for Rock in Rio, and offers space for multiple stages plus an onsite camping area.
Music and Lineup: EDM, Techno and Trance
A Summer Story covers a wide range of electronic music, from big room EDM to techno and trance. Past editions have featured international headliners such as David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, alongside Spanish and rising artists. - Official shuttle buses connect the festival site with central points in Madrid such as Ventas and Conde Casal, as well as Arganda del Rey; this is the option organizers recommend most.
- By car, the venue is accessible from Madrid via exit 33 and from Valencia via exit 35.
- The festival traditionally runs overnight into the early morning, so plan your return trip in advance, as delays are common at those hours.
