From August 28 to September 6, 2026, Aarhus turns into a lively festival city for ten days. Since 1965, Aarhus Festuge has brought the city's cultural life together across squares, parks and cultural venues, and today ranks among Northern Europe's largest arts and culture festivals.

For ten days, Aarhus Festuge fills streets, squares, theatres and museums with programming from morning through evening. The full 2026 program is being released gradually on the official website, and the festival traditionally opens with a large concert at Bispetorv.
