Welcome to the Abergavenny Food Festival 2026 in Abergavenny
On September 19 and 20, 2026, the small Welsh market town of Abergavenny once again becomes one of the liveliest gathering points in British food culture. Since 1999, the festival has brought together producers, chefs and curious eaters from around the world, filling eleven venues across the town center.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The festival spreads across the whole of Abergavenny town center on Saturday and Sunday, with each day running its own program of talks and demonstrations. Alongside the market inside the Market Hall, stages in the Brewery Yard, the Local and Vocal tent and the Castle grounds keep visitors busy with food, ideas and entertainment. The full 2026 program will be announced on the official website in the coming weeks.
Tickets and Admission for the Abergavenny Food Festival
Day tickets for Saturday or Sunday are sold separately, alongside a weekend ticket covering both days. Converted from the official prices in pounds sterling, a day ticket costs around 19.80 euros and a weekend ticket around 30.30 euros at current exchange rates. Anyone under 16 gets free entry, and a local discount applies for NP7 postcodes. The separate evening event Party in the Castle costs an additional 30 euros and is open to over 12s only.
