Welcome to Advent on the Neumarkt 2026 in Dresden
Set against the magnificent backdrop of Dresden's Frauenkirche, the Neumarkt transforms into a historic Christmas market from November 25 to December 23, 2026. The market revives the atmosphere of the years 1830 to 1920 and ranks among the most atmospheric Christmas markets in Dresden's old town.

The historic market opens on November 25, 2026 from 5 PM with a festive opening. From November 26 to December 23 it is open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM. The market closes from December 24 to 26, then continues as "Ambiente auf dem Neumarkt" with adjusted hours until January 3, 2027. Visitors can look forward to craft demonstrations and festive live music alongside the market stalls.
