Welcome to Advent in Zagreb 2026 in the Croatian Capital
From November 28, 2026 to January 7, 2027, Zagreb once again turns into one of Europe's most loved Christmas destinations. Rather than a single market, visitors find a whole network of festively decorated squares, parks and streets, a format that has been voted best Christmas market in Europe on several occasions.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in Zagreb
The season opens symbolically with the placing of a large Advent wreath on the main square and continues for about six weeks into January. Alongside daily market stalls serving mulled wine, Croatian specialties and handmade crafts, the program includes concerts, activities for children, and special events around Christmas and New Year. Some locations open ahead of the official start date, while others operate only on weekends.
