Welcome to the Alpin Festival 2027 in Kitzbuehel
The Alpin Festival in Kitzbuehel, Austria, brings together skiing, electronic live sets and classic Tyrolean après-ski in the Kitzbühel Alps. The next edition is planned for 2027; exact dates had not been published at the time of writing. Stages spread from the Alpine Stages on the Kitzbueheler Horn and the Hahnenkamm down into bars and clubs in the historic town centre.
The format follows Kitzbühel Tourism’s Sound | Escape boutique festival: several days of music from mountain to valley, with free admission to the festival venues. A valid lift ticket from Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel is still required for mountain locations.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Previous editions opened on Friday at the Kitzbueheler Horn, moved to the Hahnenkamm on Saturday and closed on Sunday with selected mountain and valley stages. Expect afternoon sets, sundowner slots and club nights in Vorderstadt and Hinterstadt. The 2027 timetable and artist list are not yet official. Past headliners included Jan Blomqvist (2024), Sven Väth (2025) and Claptone (2026).
Outside the festival weekend, Kitzbuehel remains an après-ski destination all winter, with DJs and live acts at the Hahnenkamm base, mountain huts and town pubs. Check kitzbuehel.com and the Sound | Escape channels once 2027 dates drop. Earlier boutique editions fell in the second half of March, towards the end of the ski season — that pattern is a guide only, not a confirmed 2027 date.
Tickets & Admission for Alpin Festival Kitzbuehel
Festival venues have been free to enter, so listed prices are 0 Euro. Budget instead for lifts: in 2026, non-skiers could buy a discounted return ride for 20 Euro at selected ticket offices (Hornbahn on Friday, Fleckalmbahn on Saturday), valid only that day on that lift. A regular ski pass also covers mountain stages. Aquarena and some private venues may charge separately. There is no traditional paid festival wristband. Confirm 2027 lift deals on the official Kitzbühel Tourism site before you travel.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Kitzbuehel
- Travel: Train to Kitzbuehel on the Woergl–Kitzbuehel line, or drive via the Inntal motorway and B161. Reserve parking in peak weeks.
- Weather and clothing: Late-season days can be mild in town and snowy on the mountain. Pack layers, waterproofs and comfortable shoes for cobbled streets.
- Stay: Book hotels or apartments in Kitzbuehel or Kirchberg early if the festival lands on the season finale weekend.
- Link mountain and town: Ski or ride up for the Alpine Stage, then walk between evening venues in the centre to skip extra car trips.
- Check lift hours: Festival weekends have used extended or paused gondola times; read the day’s mountain schedule before you go up.
