Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival runs for six days. Earlier days usually host side events and hut parties around the mountain; the main Giggijoch stage days fall later in the week. Official set times and the 2027 lineup were not yet published. In recent editions, mountain shows typically started in the early afternoon, with afterparties continuing in the village.
The soundtrack is electronic dance music: EDM, house and club sets against an alpine backdrop. The ski area stays open during the day. Guests who want both skiing and the main arena normally need a valid ski pass plus a festival ticket on the headline days. Tickets & Admission for Alps Festival Sölden
Single-day festival tickets for 2027 had not been released at the time of writing (official status: coming soon). For orientation, the 2026 Giggijoch festival day ticket was about 60 EUR. Official 2027 packages are already on sale: the Half Festival Package starts at 629 EUR per person (4 nights, 3-day ski pass, main-day festival tickets) and the Full Festival Package starts at 1,029 EUR (7 nights, 6-day ski pass, main-day tickets). Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Sölden
- Travel: train to Ötztal station, then bus to the Giggijochbahn stop in Sölden. By car, leave the Inntal motorway at Ötztal and follow the B186. Closest airports: Innsbruck (about 80 km) and Munich.
- April at this altitude means spring snow higher up and strong sun. Pack layers, sun protection, glacier glasses and sturdy shoes for the walk from the gondola to the stage.
- This week sells out early. Reserve rooms or official packages as soon as possible; many local hotels are tied into the official festival packages.
- Do not mix heavy drinking with skiing or snowboarding. Follow the local “Don't Drink and Ride” advice.
- A standard ski pass does not automatically include main-stage entry on headline days. Confirm 2027 ticket rules on the official website before you travel.
