Ammerndorfer Bockbiernacht 2027: Date Not Yet Announced
On Ammerndorf's market square in the Middle Franconian district of Fürth, the traditional Dorn-Bräu brewery again invites visitors to the Ammerndorfer Bockbiernacht in 2027. An exact date had not yet been published at the time of research. The family brewery was founded as early as 1503 and has been owned by the Murmann family since 1730; today it is run in its tenth generation by Helmut Murmann and his daughters Christine Murmann and Claudia Behounek-Murmann. The 2026 edition took place October 17.
What Has Defined the Ammerndorfer Bockbiernacht (in Previous Editions)
- Tapping of the Ammerndorfer Bock, a bottom-fermented, amber-colored strong beer at around 6.2% ABV
- A celebration right on the historic market square in front of the brewery
- A family-run, down-to-earth atmosphere at one of the oldest breweries in Middle Franconia
- A gathering point for locals and bock beer fans from the Nuremberg/Fürth region
Current Status for 2027
Once Dorn-Bräu announces a 2027 date, details will be added here.
Admission
Access to the Bockbiernacht was free in previous years, with only the bock beer served paid for on site.
