Welcome to the AMR Jazz Festival 2027 in Geneva
The AMR Jazz Festival is the annual highlight of the Association pour l’encouragement de la musique improvisée in Geneva. The 45th edition took place from 18 to 22 March 2026. Exact dates for 2027 have not yet been published; the event traditionally spans five evenings in mid-to-late March at AMR / Sud des Alpes, Rue des Alpes 10. Expect double and triple concerts featuring local and international jazz and improvised-music artists.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival usually runs for five evenings with concerts starting around 20:00. At the Lieu central (reception/cave), DJ sets and live broadcasts often continue into the night. Tickets & Admission for AMR Jazz Festival Geneva
In the 2026 edition prices were approximately CHF 10 (Carte 20 ans), CHF 20 (members, students, AVS/AI/AC), CHF 30 (full price) and CHF 40 (support rate) per evening for the concert hall; the Lieu central was partly free of charge. Converted this equals roughly 9–37 euros. Presale runs via Infomaniak and amr-geneve.ch. Exact 2027 tariffs and sales start will be announced later.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Geneva
- Train or public transport to Cornavin station; AMR is a short walk away at Rue des Alpes 10
- March can be cool and damp; warm clothing and solid shoes are advisable
- Book hotels or guesthouses near the station or old town early, as Geneva is busy during festival periods
- Buy tickets online in advance; individual evenings can sell out
- Use only amr-geneve.ch and the official Infomaniak box office for current prices and programme
