Welcome to the AMF 2026 in Amsterdam
Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF) 2026 takes over Johan Cruijff ArenA on Saturday, 24 October 2026 – the stadium night of Amsterdam Dance Event. Around 40,000 people fill the arena for one night of big room, trance, melodic techno, rave and hardstyle, billed as the world’s biggest nightclub. The 2026 edition also marks ADE’s 30th anniversary. Official hours are 20:00–06:00 during daylight saving time; Early Access doors open at 19:30 and regular doors at 21:00.
Highlights & Attractions at AMF in Amsterdam
- A single main stage inside Johan Cruijff ArenA: pyro, LED, 3D mapping and stadium sound for about 40,000 people.
- David Guetta brings The Monolith Show to Amsterdam – a vertical LED monolith with 3D mapping and a new Future Rave production, his first AMF in six years.
- Confirmed lineup: Afrojack, Amelie Lens, Armin van Buuren, ARTBAT, D-Block & S-te-Fan, David Guetta, Korolova and Marlon Hoffstadt.
- Afrojack returns to the AMF stage for the first time since 2019; Armin van Buuren plays and hosts his Dance Department show live from the arena.
- Special programming for 30 years of ADE, including a still-teased extra show element and an exclusive Early Access pre-show set (listed as The Bausa on Dutch ticket portals).
- Live broadcast on Radio 538 and Fun Radio.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
AMF 2026 is one night, not a multi-day festival. Early Access tickets get you in from 19:30 plus the pre-show; Regular tickets are valid from 21:00. The official FAQ lists 20:00–06:00 under daylight saving time and 20:00–05:00 after the clocks change. In the night of 24–25 October 2026 the Netherlands leaves summer time (clocks go back one hour at 03:00). A full set-time PDF had not been published by late September 2026; it usually appears on amf-festival.com shortly before the show.
The night moves from big room and Future Rave (David Guetta, Afrojack) through trance (Armin van Buuren) and melodic techno (ARTBAT, Korolova, Amelie Lens, Marlon Hoffstadt) to a hardstyle close from D-Block & S-te-Fan. There are no outdoor stages: everything happens inside the roofed arena. Minimum age is 18; bring valid ID.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Amsterdam
- Getting there: Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA station sits next to the stadium (metro lines 50 and 54, NS trains). From Amsterdam Centraal it is about 15–20 minutes. Schiphol Airport is a similar train ride. Driving is possible but parking is scarce and expensive on ADE Saturday – public transport is the better option. ALDA/Eleven Travel runs express coaches; check the booking email for pickup times. The return bus waits 45 minutes after official close.
- Weather and clothing: Late October in Amsterdam is often 8–14 °C, with rain and wind common. The show itself is indoors (roof usually closed). For the journey, pack a waterproof jacket, comfortable closed shoes and layers. Glass, professional cameras without accreditation and selfie sticks longer than one metre are banned.
- Where to stay: ADE weekend is peak season. Hotels on Arena Boulevard (Amsterdam-Zuidoost) cut the post-show commute; if you sleep in the city centre, plan the last metro or night services. Book early.
- Entry and flow: Bring valid photo ID (18+). Early Access is worth it for the pre-show and shorter queues. The exit is very busy after the show – agree a meeting point outside the arena. The clock change that night can scramble timetables and meet-ups.
- Accessibility: Johan Cruijff ArenA has wheelchair-accessible entrances, lifts and toilets; assistance dogs are permitted according to city listings. See the FAQ on amf-festival.com. Check timetable and remaining tickets only on the official site.
