Welcome to Annafest 2027 in Forchheim
From July 23 to August 2, 2027, the Kellerwald in Forchheim once again turns into one of Bavaria's oldest and most beloved beer festivals. Held since 1840, it draws up to 300,000 guests beneath shady oak trees, spread across more than 20 traditional beer cellars.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Annafest runs for eleven days and eleven nights. The beer cellars open daily around 11 am, while the main festival activity starts each day at 1 pm and continues until about 11:30 pm. Regular program highlights include the opening keg tapping, a hearty Schlachtschüssel day at the cellars, and the traditional Annafest parade with music, dance groups and Franconian costumes.
Tickets and Admission for Annafest Forchheim
Admission to Annafest is free, and no ticket is required to enter the Kellerwald. Visitors pay directly at the individual cellars for food, drinks and rides. To save money, guests can buy an envelope of discount tokens in advance for cheaper beer and other treats. Only a few extra offerings, such as guided Annafest tours, come with a separate fee.
