From November 27 to 29, 2026, the market square in Apolda, known as the Bell Town of Thuringia, turns into a glowing sea of light during the traditional Lichterfest. Held on the first Advent weekend, this Christmas market opens the festive season in the district town of Weimarer Land with crafts, music and a festive program.
