Welcome to the Are Sessions 2027 in Are
Are Sessions is the season-closing festival week by Luger in Are, Sweden: live acts and DJs plus skiing. The eighth edition ran from 30 April to 3 May 2026 and is over. 2027 dates were missing in September 2026. Stages sit in the village, on the slope and at Holiday Club Arena. Entry is a SkiStar ski pass, age 18 and up. Source: aresessions.se.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The pattern is the last April weekend around Walpurgis, when the lifts close. Days on the piste and freeride, nights in village rooms. In 2026 the run stretched Thursday to Sunday. Use 2027 only if aresessions.se lists new days.
Without a valid multi-day ski pass there is no festival band. Some clubs may set a higher age floor.
Tickets & Admission for Are Sessions Are
There is no separate festival ticket. In 2026 a SkiStar pass of at least two consecutive days counted. 2027 lift prices were not fixed. price_min and price_max are therefore 0. Buy passes only at SkiStar, read rules at aresessions.se. Press: [email protected].
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Are
- Train to Are (an SJ festival train in some years) or fly into Ostersund
- Spring ski kit: sun, slush, frost at night
- Book rooms in Are, Duved and Bjornen early
- Age 18 for the band; swap the SkiPass for a wristband on site
