Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival opens on 11 June 2027 with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 and runs until 11 September. The programme features Aida in the historic 1913 production and Stefano Poda’s crystal version, La Traviata directed by Paul Curran, Franco Zeffirelli’s Carmen, Nabucco, and the ballet Romeo and Juliet. Galas, immersive concerts and special evenings complete the season. Performances usually start between 20:30 and 21:30 and last three to four hours including intervals.
