Welcome to the Arosa Electronica 2027 in Arosa

Arosa Electronica is a multi-day electronic music festival in Arosa, in the mountains of Graubunden, Switzerland. The tenth edition ran from 15 to 22 March 2026 across Arosa Lenzerheide. As of September 2026, dates for the next edition in winter 2026/27 had not yet been announced. The usual format opens on a Sunday at 21:00 and closes about eight days later with after hours and brunch on Sunday morning.

  • A rare mix of skiing, alpine scenery and late-night electronic music in Arosa
  • Side programme with workshops and morning sessions in addition to the parties
  • A closing after hours and brunch rather than a hard stop on the last night

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

Arosa Electronica is split between the mountain and the village. After the Sunday opening, events typically run every afternoon and evening: sun-facing terraces and huts by day, bars and clubs after dark. Venues used in the previous edition included the Kursaal (Wandelbar, Wunderbar and Panorama Bar), Provisorium13, Güterschuppen, Sonnentempel and mountain spots such as Isblaatere, Alp Arosa, Sit Hutte and Hornlihutte. The 2027 lineup and timetable are expected to be published on arosaelectronica.com closer to the event, as in previous years.

The musical focus stays on electronic styles, from house and techno to live and hybrid sets. A ski pass is not included with the festival ticket. Anyone planning to ski between day parties should budget separately for Arosa Lenzerheide lift tickets and check cable-car hours.

Tickets & Admission for Arosa Electronica Arosa

Official ticket prices for 2027 have not been published yet, so no confirmed Euro amounts can be listed here. Previous editions sold Full Week, First Half Week, Second Half Week, Long Weekend, Weekend and selected single-day tickets, plus hotel and apartment packages that bundled festival entry. Mountain day events also used on-site box offices. Check arosaelectronica.com for the next sale waves; the 2026 shop ran via the organiser’s Bookinea ticket store. Admission is not free.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Arosa

  • Travel: The most convenient route is the Rhaetian Railway from Chur to Arosa, a scenic ride of about one hour. From Zurich the full train journey is usually under three hours. By car, the winding Schanfigg road climbs from Chur to Arosa; parking is limited, so Ochsenbuhl garage is the practical option.
  • Weather and clothing: March in Arosa can bring snow, strong sun and cold nights. Pack layers, waterproof boots, gloves and high-factor sun protection for the mountain. Bring a second pair of shoes for indoor club nights.
  • Stay: Arosa is a small resort and rooms sell out around festival week. Book early, especially for a full-week stay. Packages are usually offered via the official festival site and Arosa Lenzerheide Tourism.
  • Keep tickets separate: A festival pass does not replace a ski pass. Plan lift tickets if you want to ski between daytime stages.
  • Base yourself near the centre: Many village venues sit within walking distance of the station, Obersee and the Sports and Conference Centre at Poststrasse 27, 7050 Arosa. Confirm each day’s mountain venues on the official timetable.
