What Is Arsenal Fest in Kragujevac?
Arsenal Fest is one of the Balkans' best known summer festivals for rock, alternative, metal and electronic music. Held every year since 2011 in late June, it takes place inside Knežev Arsenal, a 19th century former ammunition factory in the heart of Kragujevac, the historic former capital of Serbia. The rustic brick buildings and industrial courtyards give the festival an atmosphere that sets it apart among the region's rising festivals.
When Does Arsenal Fest 2027 Take Place?
Official dates for 2027 have not yet been confirmed at the time of this research. The festival traditionally runs for three days at the end of June; the 2026 edition took place from 25 to 27 June. This page will be updated as soon as the organizers announce the exact 2027 dates.
Venues and Stages Inside Knežev Arsenal
The festival grounds sit on Trg Topolivaca, a short walk from downtown Kragujevac. The program is traditionally spread across several stages: the Main Stage in the large factory courtyard, the Garden Stage in the green "Zastavina bašta" area, and the Explosive Stage for electronic music and DJ sets inside one of the historic brick buildings. Past lineups have featured international acts such as Underworld, The Cardigans, Paradise Lost, Napalm Death and Sonata Arctica alongside numerous bands from across the Balkans.
Tickets and Prices
Ticket prices for 2027 have not been set yet. For reference, the 2026 edition charged around 3,700 dinars for a single day ticket and around 7,000 dinars for a three day combo ticket, with VIP tickets at 8,000 dinars (single day) and 20,000 dinars (combo). Tickets are traditionally sold through Tickets.rs and the festival's official website.
Getting to Kragujevac and Camping
Kragujevac sits centrally in Serbia and is roughly a two hour bus ride from Belgrade. From the Kragujevac bus station, it is about a fifteen minute walk to Knežev Arsenal, or a short taxi ride available right at the station. Visitors staying longer can book a spot at the "Arsenal Rock Camp" in Veliki Park, next to the Čika Dača stadium; a separate camp ticket is required and does not include festival entry.
