Welcome to the Art Advent at Karlsplatz 2026 in Vienna
Art Advent at Karlsplatz takes place from 13 November to 23 December 2026 in Resselpark directly in front of the baroque Karlskirche. Organised by the divina art association, this is Austria’s leading arts-and-crafts Advent market featuring exclusively jury-selected, handmade unique pieces. Daily from 12:00 to 20:00 visitors can enjoy a sustainable, regional and ecological atmosphere with no commercial goods.

Art Advent at Karlsplatz is much more than a classic Christmas market. From 13 November to 23 December 2026 around 80 jury-selected artisans present exclusively self-made unique pieces. Daily from 12:00 to 20:00 the market invites visitors to stroll and discover. In the demonstration workshop guests can follow the creation process live. For children there is the popular straw landscape, the star workshop with candle-making, mosaic designing and other creative activities as well as regular workshops. On stage live music, performances and walking acts provide varied entertainment. The certified organic gastronomy offers regional and sustainable specialities – a unique feature among Vienna’s Advent markets.
