Welcome to the ARTmania Festival 2027 in Sibiu
ARTmania Festival returns in 2027 as its 20th edition to the historic Large Square (Piața Mare) in Sibiu. After the special free-access 2026 edition, the organisers plan a return to the classic ticketed format featuring international rock and metal acts in the heart of Transylvania’s medieval old town. Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Sibiu
- Getting there: Sibiu International Airport (SBZ) is only a few kilometres away; train and bus links from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and other cities are reliable. The Large Square is central and walkable.
- Weather & clothing: Late July is warm (daytime 25–28 °C) but cooler in the evenings – bring a light jacket. Comfortable shoes are recommended for the cobblestones.
- Accommodation: Hotels and apartments in the centre and old town are limited – book early. The historic centre offers charming guesthouses and boutique hotels.
- No on-site camping is available; plan overnight stays in the city.
- Take advantage of the central location for museum visits (e.g. Brukenthal) and walks through the medieval streets before or after the concerts.
