Program
The absolute centerpiece of the program is the Augsburg Angel Play (Engelesspiel). Angels appear on the balconies of the Augsburg City Hall, playing musical instruments and turning the facade into a giant Advent calendar. These performances traditionally take place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 6:00 PM (subject to change). The market stalls are generally open from Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on weekends until 9:30 PM.
Tickets
Visiting the Augsburg Christmas Market is completely free of charge. The grounds at Rathausplatz and the adjacent streets are open to the public, so no tickets or reservations are required.
