Awakenings Festival 2026 – Europe's Largest Outdoor Techno Event
From Friday 10 to Sunday 12 July 2026, the expansive grounds of Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek, North Brabant, transform once again into the global capital of techno. Awakenings Festival is one of the most important electronic music events in the world, attracting around 80,000 visitors from over 80 countries each year. The confirmed headliners for the 2026 edition are Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte and Nina Kraviz; more than 120 artists are booked across the three-day programme.

Programme & Opening Hours
The festival grounds open as follows across the three days:
- Friday, 10 July 2026: 15:00 to 01:00
- Saturday, 11 July 2026: 13:00 to 01:00
- Sunday, 12 July 2026: 13:00 to 23:00
All six stages cover the full spectrum of contemporary techno. Awakenings is particularly well known for its long sets: artists typically play far beyond the 60 to 90-minute slots standard at mainstream festivals, creating an immersive and sustained dancefloor experience. The camping area opens Friday at 12:00 and closes Monday at 10:00; the after-hours Area N stage at the campsite runs each night until 05:00.
Tickets
Weekend tickets and Saturday single-day tickets are sold out. Friday and Sunday single-day tickets remain available through the official Awakenings ticket shop. For sold-out dates, the official resale marketplace is TicketSwap; reselling through unofficial channels is not permitted. Premium upgrades are bookable as an add-on to standard entry tickets. Camping passes, shuttle tickets and parking permits are available separately in the pre-sale at discounted rates. Getting There
The festival site in Hilvarenbeek is approximately 100 kilometres south of Amsterdam, 30 kilometres north of Eindhoven and 15 kilometres north of Tilburg. The easiest route by rail is from Amsterdam Centraal to Tilburg (approximately one hour), with official shuttle buses running directly from Tilburg station to the festival grounds. Shuttle tickets are cheaper in pre-sale and sell out; book early. The site has multiple entrances; the correct entrance for each visitor is printed on their ticket.
Practical Tips
- E-tickets are sent to the main buyer on Wednesday 8 July 2026; increase screen brightness for faster scanning at the entrance.
- Drinks and food are paid for using a token system; token stations are spread across the entire festival and camping grounds.
- A deposit system applies to all cups, cans and bottles at the bars; one free recycling token is given at entry.
- All food court areas serve a 100 percent vegetarian menu.
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all tents and covered areas; please smoke outside only.
- A low-stimulus quiet space with seating and noise-cancelling headphones is available, as well as a care room staffed by Handicap NL.
- Leave the grounds at least 30 to 60 minutes before the official closing time to avoid queues at shuttle stops.
- Book accommodation in Tilburg, Eindhoven or on the festival campsite well in advance.
