Welcome to the Balélec Festival 2027 in Lausanne
Balélec Festival takes place on 1 May 2027 on the EPFL campus in Lausanne. It is regarded as Europe’s largest student-organised one-night open-air and traditionally opens the Swiss outdoor season. House, electro, rap, rock and hip-hop run across several stages. Around 15,000 visitors are expected from 19:00 until about 04:00.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The festival runs on Friday 1 May 2027 from about 19:00 to 04:00. The 2027 lineup has not yet been announced. Previous editions featured three live stages and two DJ stages with electro, rap, rock and local acts. Full details will appear on balelec.ch once confirmed.
The EPFL campus turns into a full festival site for one night. Food, bars and facilities are on site. Exact stage times follow the official announcement.
Tickets & Admission for Balélec Festival Lausanne
Entry is not free. In recent years early-bird and regular tickets cost roughly 30–40 CHF (about 32–45 euros). Exact 2027 prices are still pending. Sales run via balelec.ch and usually open in spring.
