Welcome to the Bánkitó Festival 2027 in Bank
Bánkitó Festival is expected to return in 2027 to its traditional home on the shores of Lake Bank in Bank, Hungary. After a transitional edition in 2026 as part of the Valley of Arts in Kapolcs, the new organisers plan a return to the lakeside. This avant-garde camp combines independent music, theatre and social responsibility projects in a unique atmosphere.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Bank
- Getting there: Bank is about a one-hour drive north of Budapest via the M2 and Route 2 towards Rétság. Public transport and shuttle services were organised in previous years.
- Weather & clothing: July is warm to hot; pack comfortable clothes, swimwear, sun protection and a light rain jacket for possible summer showers.
- Accommodation: On-site camping was traditionally available. Alternatively, guesthouses, hotels and holiday homes can be found in Bank and the surrounding area – book early.
