Welcome to Basler Biermarkt 2026 in Basel
On August 28 and 29, 2026, Vogesenplatz in Basel once again becomes the meeting point for regional brewing craft. Basler Biermarkt is one of the oldest beer festivals in Switzerland, and this twelfth edition brings together around 20 independent small and micro breweries from Basel and the rest of Switzerland.

Basler Biermarkt opens at 16:00 on both days and runs until 23:00. The focus is on tasting the different beers directly at each brewery's stand, chatting with the brewers themselves and enjoying a relaxed end of summer evening on the square.

Admission to Basler Biermarkt is free. A refundable deposit is charged for the beer glass at the stands and paid back when the glass is returned. Drinks themselves are paid for directly at each brewery's stand.
