Program

The Christmas market at Festplassen welcomes visitors Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on weekends from 10:00 PM to 9:00 PM. In addition, the famous Pepperkakebyen opens its doors from 14 November 2026 to 10 January 2027 at Kong Oscars gate, showcasing an entire miniature city built by local children, schools, and residents out of baked gingerbread.

Admission to the outdoor Christmas market at Festplassen is completely free of charge. Visiting the world's largest Gingerbread Town (Pepperkakebyen) requires a ticket (approx. 199 NOK for adults, with discounts or free entry for children depending on age/days), which can be bought online or at the entrance.
