From 23 November to 31 December 2026, the famous "WeihnachtsZauber" (Christmas Magic) at Gendarmenmarkt invites you to one of Berlin's most atmospheric Christmas markets. Framed by magnificent historic buildings, this bustling metropolitan market attracts countless visitors each year with its extraordinary mix of visual arts, culinary delights, and traditional craftsmanship.

Program
Starting 23 November, the market is open daily from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and until 11:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Beyond classic mulled wine and roasted almonds, the market offers high-end culinary treats. The central stage features daily changing performances by artists, singers, and dance groups. On Christmas Eve, the market closes at 6:00 PM, while on New Year's Eve, the festivities continue until midnight to ring in the new year.
Tickets
The regular admission fee is 2 Euros, with a portion of the proceeds going to charity. Children under the age of 12 enter for free. Additionally, admission is free for everyone from Monday to Friday between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM (excluding public holidays). Tickets can be purchased directly at the entrances.

- Use public transportation (U-Bahn), as parking in the city center is extremely limited.
- Visit the market on weekdays during lunchtime to enjoy free admission and a quieter atmosphere.
