Welcome to the Berzbuir Open Air 2027 in Duren
Berzbuir Open Air, known as BOA, is a small volunteer-run outdoor festival in Berzbuir, a district of Duren. The last confirmed edition took place on 17 and 18 July 2026 at Berzbuirer Strasse 45A, opening on Friday at 15:00 and closing on Saturday at 22:00. No official 2027 date had been published by mid-October 2026. The next edition is expected in July, in line with recent years, but the exact days remain open until the organisers announce them.
The meadow stage brings together local and regional bands from alternative rock, folk punk, punk, blues-rock and metal. The setting, well away from large city festival sites, shapes the weekend more than any arena headline.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
There is no confirmed running order for 2027. Recent editions show a two-day July open air: a show on 16 July 2022 is documented, 2023 ran on 21 and 22 July, and 2026 ran from 17 July at 15:00 until 18 July at 22:00. In 2026 The Groove Ryders played a blues- and rock-leaning Friday set from 19:30 to 20:30, and the punk band Käpt’n Picus headlined on Saturday 18 July. Further acts are usually announced one by one in the weeks before the festival.
Until an official 2027 programme is released, band names and slot times should not be treated as fixed. Opening hours may differ from the 2026 window of 15:00 to 22:00.
Tickets & Admission for Berzbuir Open Air Duren
Official ticket prices for 2027 have not been published. A value of 0 euro in the metadata does not mean admission is free. For 2026, performing bands pointed visitors to tickets at the door. No dedicated festival website with advance sales was found at the time of research. Updates have appeared on the St. Anna Schützen Berzbuir calendar and on the channels of the bands involved. Day tickets, weekend tickets and any concessions should only be treated as real once the organisers publish them.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Duren
- Berzbuir is about seven kilometres southwest of central Duren. The site used most recently is Berzbuirer Strasse 45A. The village has no through traffic, so check driving and parking before the weekend.
- July evenings on the edge of the Eifel can start warm and cool later. Sturdy shoes for meadow ground and a light jacket are more useful than festival-only clothing.
- Book rooms in Duren or nearby towns once the 2027 date is fixed. Beds inside Berzbuir itself are limited.
- This is a small volunteer event. Do not rely only on major ticket platforms; check the local calendar and the bands.
- Line-up and box office details can change at short notice. Before travelling, confirm that the 2027 date, gates and door sales have been announced officially.
