Welcome to the Bevrijdingsfestival Fryslân 2027 in Leeuwarden
Every year on 5 May, the Dutch Liberation Day, the city center of Leeuwarden turns into a large celebration of freedom. The Bevrijdingsfestival Fryslân commemorates the end of the Second World War while celebrating freedom, democracy and the rule of law with a free music and culture program for the whole family.
