Welcome to Bevrijdingspop 2027 in Haarlem
On May 5, 2027, the Haarlemmerhout, the oldest public park in the Netherlands, once again becomes the setting for Bevrijdingspop. Every year around 150,000 people gather here to celebrate Dutch Liberation Day with one of the country's biggest concerts, and admission is entirely free.

Program and Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
Bevrijdingspop always takes place on May 5, the Dutch Liberation Day, and runs from midday until midnight. Throughout the day, well known Dutch artists as well as emerging bands perform across several stages in the park. The full 2027 program and line up will be announced on the official website in spring.
Tickets and Admission for Bevrijdingspop Haarlem
Just like the other Dutch Liberation Festivals, admission to Bevrijdingspop is completely free and no ticket is required. In recent years the festival moved to a cashless payment system for food and drinks, with a payment card available for purchase at the entrance.
Visitor Tips: Travel and Accommodation in Haarlem
- The Haarlemmerhout sits on the southern edge of Haarlem and is an easy walk or bike ride from the city center
- Parking near the park is limited, so arriving by train to Haarlem Centraal and continuing by bus or bicycle is recommended
- Weather in early May can be changeable in Haarlem, so bringing a light jacket is a good idea
- Given the public holiday and large crowds, accommodation in Haarlem should be booked well in advance
- For a calmer experience, arriving in the early afternoon is a good option
