Welcome to the Beer Train 3-Lakes Region 2026 in Murten
On Saturday, 10 October 2026, the Beer Train of the 3-Lakes Region departs from Murten station for a full-day tasting journey. Aboard the historic Mirage heritage train you travel through the scenic landscape of Lake Murten, Lake Neuchâtel and Lake Geneva while enjoying regional beer specialities and a complete meal package.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Beer Train departs on 10 October 2026 around 10:15–10:30 from Murten station and returns around 18:15–18:30. The route travels through the 3-Lakes Region and, due to construction works, continues to Lausanne and the Lake Geneva (Lavaux) area. Several short stops are planned. Beers and food are served at your seat throughout the journey. Vegetarian options are available. The detailed timetable will be published closer to the date.
Tickets & Admission for Beer Train Murten
Tickets cost 175 CHF (2nd class) or 195 CHF (1st class) and include the train journey, all beers, the full menu, glass and opener. This converts to approximately 185–210 Euro. The 10 October 2026 Beer Train is sold out. A waiting list is available. The next Beer Train is scheduled for 8 May 2027. - Arrive by train directly at Murten station – the ideal starting and ending point of the event.
- Wear comfortable, weatherproof clothing as outdoor stops are possible and October can be cool.
