Bilbao BBK Live 2026: 20th Anniversary on Kobetamendi Hill

From 9 to 11 July 2026, Bilbao BBK Live celebrates its 20th anniversary on Kobetamendi, a forested hill overlooking Bilbao and the Guggenheim Museum. Headliners for the anniversary edition include Calvin Harris (his only show on the Iberian Peninsula this year), FKA twigs, David Byrne, Robbie Williams, Interpol and Charlotte de Witte, with more than 80 artists confirmed across the lineup.

Program

The festival runs across three days, traditionally Thursday to Saturday. On Thursday 9 July, Calvin Harris opens the anniversary edition alongside FKA twigs and David Byrne. Friday 10 July centres around Robbie Williams, Alabama Shakes and Belle and Sebastian. Saturday 11 July closes the festival with Dellafuente, IDLES, Lily Allen, Interpol and Charlotte de Witte, among others. Beyond the main stage, the Basoa, Lasai and Gorria areas deliver electronic club music and more intimate showcases into the early morning hours.

Tickets

Three-day passes start at €145 in the exclusive fan presale, rising to €149 in the regular presale and €160 at general sale, plus fees. Group tickets (Bono Cuadrilla) offer 6 passes for the price of 5, at €133 per person; a discounted Bono Gaztea for under-24s starts at €120. Children up to age 11 enter free when accompanied by an adult. Camping for the festival duration costs roughly €30 to €38 plus fees. Tickets are available via the official website and Fever Up.

Getting There

  • Bilbao Airport (BIO) is about 9 km from the city centre, connected by Bizkaibus line 3247.
  • Bilbao Abando train station connects the city with Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza and Galicia.
  • Free shuttle buses run from BEC (Ansio metro stop) and Termibús-San Mamés to the festival site, reaching the entrance directly until 4:00 PM.
  • The venue is roughly a 25-minute walk from Termibús-San Mamés.

Visitor Tips

  • Bilbao hotels fill up fast and get expensive during the festival; book well in advance.
  • Camping is a cheaper alternative to city accommodation; tents are allowed, caravans are not.
  • Daily capacity is around 40,000 attendees.
  • A day trip to the Casco Viejo old town and the Guggenheim Museum is worthwhile before or after the festival.
  • Comfortable footwear is recommended, as the venue is hilly and partly unpaved.
