What is Bilbao BBK Live?
Bilbao BBK Live is one of Europe's leading music festivals, held every summer since 2006 on Mount Kobetamendi. From up there, the city of Bilbao unfolds beneath the stages, giving the festival a setting unlike most city based events. The lineup spans indie, rock, pop and electronic music across several main stages, complemented by the electronic side stages Basoa and Lasai.
When does Bilbao BBK Live 2027 take place?
The 2027 edition is officially confirmed for 8 to 10 July 2027 (Thursday to Saturday). In the days before the main festival, several free warm up events usually take place around the city (including Hirian and Mendian); exact dates for these are typically announced in spring.

Where is the festival held?
The venue is Mount Kobetamendi on the outskirts of Bilbao, in Spain's Basque Country. The site is adapted for reduced mobility access. Free shuttle buses run from the city center throughout the festival days, with two lines departing from around 4:00 PM.
What can visitors expect from the program?

How much do tickets cost?
Ticket prices for 2027 have not been announced yet; an early sign up phase ("Venta Fan") is currently open for an exclusive presale price. For reference, the 2026 three day pass started at around 180 euros (plus fees), with single day tickets available from about 80 euros. Camping is booked as a separate add on.
How do you get to Kobetamendi?
- Free shuttle buses run from the city center on all festival days.
- Travelers arriving by plane can take the regular bus from Loiu Airport to the center and continue by festival shuttle.
- During festival nights, Bilbao Metro runs a special service between 11:00 PM and 3:00 AM.
- Drivers can use the covered car park at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre for the whole festival.
- Signing up early for the Venta Fan usually secures the cheaper price tiers.
