What can visitors expect?
Bloodstock is the UK's biggest independent metal festival, built by and for the metal community; around 20,000 metalheads make the pilgrimage every year. Across several stages, including the Ronnie James Dio Stage and the Sophie Lancaster Stage, more than a hundred bands cover the full spectrum from death, black and thrash to classic heavy metal. For 2027, 27 bands are already confirmed: Danish pioneers Mercyful Fate headline the Ronnie James Dio Stage on Friday, Electric Callboy make their festival headline debut on Saturday, and Motionless In White round out the top of the bill. Around a hundred more bands will be announced in the coming months.
