Bloom Festival 2027 is expected to return in September to the Aeródromo Municipal de Vilar de Luz in Maia, near Porto – Portugal’s standout electronic festival on a real runway. The 2026 edition (18–19 September, finishing around 08:00 on 20 September) has ended; the official site bloomfestival.pt currently shows only “More info soon” for 2027. Exact dates are not yet announced. The event transforms the asphalt strip of an active airfield into an open-air dancefloor under open sky, minutes from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport.

The 2027 lineup has not been announced. In 2026 the bill included The Blaze (DJ set), Seth Troxler, Louie Vega, Bedouin, NTO (Live), Dennis Cruz, Jimi Jules, Bora Uzer, Reznik, Tripolism, DJ Vibe, Xinobi and many other national and international names. Gates opened at 14:00 on Friday; the programme ran until about 08:00 on Sunday morning. The structure favours a continuous sunset-to-sunrise flow rather than a single midnight peak.

Day-by-day schedules are usually published shortly before the event on the official website and social channels (@bloomfest.pt). Whether Bloom Village, two stages and the sunrise closing return in the same form in 2027 is not yet confirmed – the organisers will post updates on bloomfestival.pt.

Tickets & Admission for Bloom Festival Maia

Tickets for 2027 are not on sale yet; the official site points to more information soon. For orientation, 2026 pricing (all figures in euro) was: early-entry tickets from about 15–20 euro (time-restricted entry), day tickets from about 30–40 euro, weekend pass about 50–60 euro, VIP from about 70 euro (day) or 120 euro (weekend). Bloom Village glamping packages cost more (from roughly 250 euro upward depending on tent and nights, with some packages in the 320–590 euro range). 2027 prices may differ. Buy only via bloomfestival.pt or authorised partners (3cket was used in the previous edition). The festival was 18+ in the last edition.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Maia

• Getting there: The aerodrome is in Folgosa (Maia), about 10 km from central Maia and only minutes from Porto Airport (Francisco Sá Carneiro / OPO). By car use the surrounding motorways (including A41 / EN 105-2); taxi or transfer from the airport is the simplest option. Check public transport to Maia/Folgosa and plan the last mile.
• Weather and clothing: Mid-to-late September in the Porto area is often still mild and sunny, cooler after dark. The open runway can be windy. Pack layers, comfortable shoes for dancing on asphalt and light rain protection if needed.
• Where to stay: Besides Bloom Village glamping on site (if offered again in 2027), hotels and apartments in Maia, Matosinhos and Porto work well. Book early – September weekends and festival dates fill quickly.
