Welcome to the Bockbier Festival Utrecht 2026 in Utrecht
The Bockbier Festival Utrecht 2026 takes place from 16 to 18 October on the picturesque Janskerkhof square in the heart of Utrecht. The 27th edition features over 25 different bock beers from Dutch and international breweries, live music by local bands, DJs, guided tastings and BBQ dishes from the smoker – the perfect autumn atmosphere.

The festival offers beer tastings, live acts and food throughout the day. On Sunday afternoon there is a special children’s programme. The exact band line-up will be announced closer to the event. All beers are served in real festival glasses.
Tickets & Admission for Bockbier Festival Utrecht
Tickets are available online via the official website (sales started on 21 August). Prices typically range from approximately €5 to €12 per day depending on the day and early-bird offers. Additional guided tastings cost extra (around €19–22). Children accompanied by an adult often have free entry on Sunday. Tickets are required; limited on-site sales may be available.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Utrecht
- Getting there: Janskerkhof is easily reached by bus (stop Janskerkhof). From Utrecht Centraal station it is about 10–15 minutes on foot or a short bus ride.
- Bring weatherproof clothing and comfortable shoes – the festival is outdoors and October can be cool and damp.
- Book accommodation in the centre of Utrecht early, as the festival is popular.
- Bicycle parking is available; car parking in the centre is difficult and expensive – public transport or bike is recommended.
- Pay the deposit for the festival glass with your first order and return it at the exit to get your money back.
