Welcome to the Bockbieranstich 2027 in Memmelsdorf
Brauerei Gasthof Höhn traditionally opens its Höhnskeller in the middle of Memmelsdorf every autumn for the annual Bockbieranstich - in 2026 it took place on October 10. The region around Bamberg has the densest brewery landscape in the world, and the tapping of the new bock beer kicks off one of the most popular traditions among Franconia's many cellar festivals each autumn. According to its own website, the Höhnskeller is already looking forward to the coming season, though an exact 2027 date had not yet been published at the time of research.

Tickets and Prices
Entry to the Bockbieranstich is traditionally free. Only food and drinks from the Höhnskeller's current menu are paid for on site.
Visitor Tips: Getting There and Accommodation in Memmelsdorf
- The Höhnskeller is located in the center of Memmelsdorf on the hill towards Meedensdorf and is easily reachable by bicycle
- It is about six kilometers from Bamberg train station, also reachable via regular bus connections
- Evenings in early October can already be cool, so a warm jacket is advisable
- In bad weather the cellar may close on short notice, so checking the brewery's website or Facebook page beforehand is worthwhile
- Accommodation is available at the adjoining Hotel Brauerei Gasthof Höhn on site
