Welcome to the Bockbieranstich 2027 in Bamberg
Every autumn, the traditional Mahrs Bräu brewery in Bamberg's Wunderburg opens its courtyards for the Bockbieranstich, one of the city's most popular bock beer tappings. In 2026 it took place on Friday, October 16. An official date for 2027 had not yet been published by Mahrs Bräu at the time of research.

Entry and Prices
Entry to the Bockbieranstich is traditionally free, no ticket is required. Only the bock beer poured on site at the tavern is paid for; in previous years a bock beer cost around €4.80, with current 2027 prices to be published closer to the date.

- The Wunderburg is within walking distance of Bamberg's old town, easily reachable on foot or by bicycle
- As the tapping tends to be well attended, arriving early is recommended for a good spot in the courtyard
