Welcome to the Bolzano Christmas Market 2026
From 27 November 2026 to 6 January 2027, Waltherplatz in the heart of Bolzano transforms into a magical winter wonderland. As South Tyrol's largest Christmas market, it has been blending alpine coziness with Italian flair since 1991. Framed by the magnificent peaks of the Dolomites, this market provides a breathtaking backdrop for the festive season.

Program
The market kicks off with an opening ceremony on 26 November 2026 at 5:00 PM. Starting 27 November, craft stalls are open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Gastronomy stands welcome visitors Monday through Wednesday until 10:00 PM and Thursday through Saturday until 11:00 PM. The market is only closed on Christmas Day (25 December), welcoming guests well past the holidays through Epiphany on 6 January 2027.

Admission to the Bolzano Christmas Market at Waltherplatz and its surrounding alleyways is entirely free. No tickets or advance reservations are required, allowing visitors to explore the festive area spontaneously.
