Welcome to the New Year Parties 2026/2027 in Braga

The night of 31 December 2026 into 1 January 2027 is fixed; the bill in Braga is not. As of 20 October 2026 neither the city council nor Visit Braga has published a lineup, fireworks plan or admission rule for the municipal Passagem de Ano. Do not treat the Avenida Central concert that welcomed 2026 as the plan for 2027.

Two hotel galas inside the city are already packaged for sale. The main club nights – Lustre, Bô Zen, Keimòdrumo and the “nas Artes” party – have no ticket live for 31 December 2026. Each of those rooms ran its own party last New Year; that is a map of the scene, not a 2027 lineup.

Highlights & Attractions at New Year Parties in Braga

• City party, Avenida Central: not announced for 2026/2027. The 2025/2026 edition (free entry, DJ Emídio Meireles from 22:30, midnight fireworks, Vizinhos concert, then DJs Meninos do Rio and André Salvador, with Associação Empresarial de Braga, about 15,000 people expected) belongs to that year only.
• Vila Galé Collection Braga, Largo Carlos Amarante 150: “Especial Passagem de Ano 2026/2027”, two nights from 30 December 2026 to 1 January 2027, breakfast, VIP arrival, welcome cocktail, New Year dinner with live music, late supper and brunch on 1 January. Shared tables. No euro price on the public offer pages checked.
• Meliá Braga Hotel & Spa, Avenida General Carrilho da Silva Pinto 8: Resellers list a 2026/2027 package with two nights, breakfast, port, a 30-minute massage, a gala with entertainment, late supper and New Year lunch. The hotel’s old New Year offer URL returns 404. Confirm price and menu with the hotel; last year’s rates (including a gala from 290 euro) are not this year’s tariff.
• Lustre, Praça Conde de Agrolongo 115: three rooms (Sala Disco, Sala Azul, Sala Espelhos), Fridays, Saturdays and holiday eves roughly 22:30–06:00. The party with doors at 01:00, 15 euro entry plus 15 euro minimum spend (20 euro after 02:00) was 31 December 2025. Nothing is on sale for 2026/2027.
• Bô Zen, Edifício Polo de Negócios, Avenida D. João II: “Réveillon Histórico” (Afro house, reggaeton, pop, rock, Brazilian, 20+, doors 00:30, through about 06:00, tickets 20–30 euro by drinks included) was 31 December 2025. No 2027 edition has been published.
• Keimòdrumo, Rua Quinta da Armada 5: late club (Wednesdays and Saturdays into the morning). “NYE 26 – Welcome 2026” advertised an open bar for the previous turn of the year. Lineup, price and door time for 31 December 2026 are unpublished.
• “É nas Artes”: promoted with DJ Guima for 31 December 2025 as its own New Year party. Venue details, price and bill for 2027 are not confirmed. Setra, Camada, Pátio da Sé and Café Vianna appeared in 2025/2026 as food partners on the avenue, not as separate ticketed parties.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

There is no published citywide timetable for 31 December 2026. Visit Braga still shows the night that welcomed 2026, not the night that welcomes 2027. The Christmas market on Avenida Central is a separate fact: the council has set it from 1 December 2026 to 6 January 2027, with closures on 25 December, 27 December and 1 January. It is not a fireworks show.

Vila Galé Collection Braga (the restored São Marcos hospital, 123 rooms) has described the package without a gala start time and without a euro figure. The main restaurant, Versátil, normally serves dinner from 19:30 to 22:30; the offer does not say the New Year sitting follows that clock. Tourism tax, meals before 31 December, lunch on the 31st and spa treatments are extra. The pool needs a booking and a swim cap. Private parking is free. Rooms or suites take at most two adults plus one child, or three adults.

Meliá Braga Hotel & Spa sits a short walk from the old town. The reseller package names a gala, entertainment, late supper, New Year lunch, a dress code “suited to the occasion” and shared tables. It does not name a 2027 price, menu, band or DJ. The hotel page used for the last Réveillon returns 404. Until the hotel confirms it, treat this as a travel package, not as the municipal programme.

Lustre is still the central multi-room club: pop in Sala Disco, rock in Sala Azul, a third floor in Sala Espelhos, plus an outdoor area. Until a “Réveillon 27” dated 31 December 2026 appears, there is no lineup, door time or price for that night. The same applies to Bô Zen (last time 20+, drinks bundles rather than a fully consumable ticket) and Keimòdrumo (last time an open bar, no 2027 lineup). Check the venue’s own channels close to the date. Do not repeat last year’s DJs as the 2027 bill.

Tickets & Admission for New Year Parties Braga

No single ticket price for New Year in Braga 2026/2027 has been published. The data fields therefore read 0 and 0. That is not a statement that the night is free. The 2025/2026 street party was free; the city has not said whether 2027 will be. Hotel packages are paid, and the euro amount for Vila Galé and Meliá is not on the pages checked. Last year’s Meliá figures (stays from about 579 euro per person, gala only 290 euro, buffet 155 euro, New Year lunch 85 euro) were for 2025/2026. Last year’s club tickets (Lustre 15 euro plus a minimum spend, Bô Zen 20 to 30 euro) are sold out and expired. Book galas with the hotel, and buy a club ticket only after that venue posts 31 December 2026 itself.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Braga

• Getting there: Porto Airport is about 50 to 70 minutes away. Trains from Porto-Campanhã reach Braga in about an hour. Braga station is north of the old town; Avenida Central is walkable from the centre. On New Year’s Eve plan a taxi or ride-hail; buses finish earlier.
• Weather: late December is often 8–14 °C by day and about 5 °C at night, with frequent rain. Coat and solid shoes outdoors; clubs run hot. A later street party may restrict umbrellas – that rule does not exist until a 2027 security note is published.
• Where to stay: both hotel packages already hold 30 and 31 December. If you only want a club, still book a bed now. Braga is small on this weekend and fills before lineups drop. Tourism tax sits on top of the room rate.
• Do not mix programmes: market stalls, the São Silvestre run and the Christmas stage belong to “Braga é Natal”, not to a confirmed midnight show. Believe in 2027 fireworks only when the council or Visit Braga announces them again.
• Keep the clubs separate: Lustre, Bô Zen and Keimòdrumo are three doors and three tills. A wristband from one is not valid in another. Age limits (20 at Bô Zen last time) and minimum spends are rewritten every year.
