Welcome to the Brass Wiesn Festival 2027 in Maxlrain
The Brass Wiesn Festival takes place from 5 to 7 August 2027 for the first time in Maxlrain in the Rosenheim district. After twelve years in Eching, Germany’s largest brass music festival moves to the grounds of the Schlossbrauerei Maxlrain. Traditional Bavarian brass bands meet modern brass, pop and ska – accompanied by camping, beer tents, alpine huts and plenty of Bavarian joie de vivre.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
The Brass Wiesn Festival 2027 offers three days of live music with continuous programming on several stages. Traditional brass bands, modern brass ensembles and crossover acts from pop, indie and ska provide variety. During the day the atmosphere is relaxed in the beer garden and huts; in the evenings people dance and celebrate. Campers enjoy the festival vibe around the clock. The detailed line-up and schedule will be published on the official website. The new location in Maxlrain offers better infrastructure and the charm of the castle brewery.
Tickets & Admission for Brass Wiesn Festival Maxlrain
Festival tickets (multi-day pass) start at around 149 euros in pre-sale. Additional camping tickets (standard from approx. 65 euros, comfort higher) and vehicle tickets are available. Day tickets and further categories will also be offered. All tickets are available via the official website and Reservix. Early bookers benefit from lower prices. Child rates and neighbour tickets will be announced on brasswiesn.de. Admission is not free.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Maxlrain
- Arrive by car via the A8 or A93 towards Rosenheim; parking and camping access roads are signposted. Public transport to Bad Aibling or Rosenheim, then shuttle or taxi recommended.
- Bring weatherproof and comfortable clothing – Bavarian summers can be changeable. Traditional costume (Dirndl/Lederhose) is welcome but not mandatory.
- Book camping pitches early as capacity is limited. Reserve alternative accommodation in Bad Aibling, Rosenheim or surrounding villages in good time.
- The Schlossbrauerei grounds offer pleasant walks and views – use the quieter hours for exploration.
- Secure tickets and camping in pre-sale to avoid higher on-site prices.
