Welcome to the Brauerei Hönig Bock Tapping 2026 in Tiefenellern
On 16 October 2026 the historic Brauerei Hönig in Tiefenellern hosts its traditional Bockbieranstich. Set in a postcard-perfect Franconian village with valley views, visitors experience the start of the bock beer season at Gasthof zur Post – one of Franconia’s oldest family breweries, dating back to 1478.

The Bockbieranstich begins on 16 October 2026 at 15:00. Fresh light bock beer is then served. Gasthof zur Post remains open until 22:00 (normally closed on Thursdays, but open on this Friday). Guests enjoy the special atmosphere of a small Franconian brewery with a long history, fresh beer and classic local dishes. The tapping marks the start of the seasonal bock beers, available through the winter months.
