Welcome to the Bregenz Christmas Market 2026 in Bregenz
The Bregenz Christmas Market takes place from 15 November to 23 December 2026 at Kornmarktplatz as well as along Rathausstraße, at Leutbühel and in the historic Upper Town. Against the backdrop of Lake Constance and the snow-covered mountains, the capital of Vorarlberg transforms into an atmospheric Christmas village. Open daily: trade from 11:00 to 20:00, gastronomy from 11:00 to 21:00.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026
The Bregenz Christmas Market extends across Kornmarktplatz and the adjoining areas of the city centre. Visitors experience a classic Christmas village with stalls for crafts and food, complemented by attractions such as the artificial ice rink and a nostalgic carousel. On weekends, music and children’s activities enrich the programme. The proximity to Lake Constance and the mountain views give the market a special atmosphere.
Arts and Crafts Market in the Historic Upper Town
On three weekends in December 2026 the traditional arts and crafts market takes place in the historic Upper Town around the Martinsturm. High-quality handmade products, regional art and a cosy atmosphere in the narrow alleys of the old town await visitors. Typical opening times are on Saturdays and Sundays in the afternoon and evening. Admission is free; the programme is often complemented by Advent brass music and small concerts.
