Welcome to the Burgweihnacht Brüggen 2026 in Brueggen
Burgweihnacht Brüggen transforms the historic castle and its surroundings into a festive Christmas village in December 2026. Visitors can expect arts and crafts, seasonal food and live music around Burg Brüggen over two Advent weekends. The event is currently planned for 11–13 December and 18–20 December 2026.

The Christmas market opens on Friday evenings plus full days on Saturdays and Sundays during the Advent weekends. Guests enjoy a varied programme featuring bagpipers, guitar concerts, children’s choirs and light juggling. Music groups and walking acts create a festive atmosphere in the castle courtyard and surrounding squares. Children can take part in creative workshops and an elf hunt. Opening hours typically follow previous years: Friday approx. 17:00–21:00, Saturday 11:00–21:00 and Sunday 11:00–19:00.
