In previous years international and regional buskers turned the pedestrian zone into an open stage with world music, flamenco, reggae, folk and more. Entry is free; artists traditionally perform for the hat.

The programme changes each year and features groups and soloists from many countries. Besides music there are often small shows and a colourful street atmosphere.
