Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027

The parade traditionally starts in the afternoon of 5 January at the Rectorado and winds for several hours through the historic centre, Triana and Los Remedios before returning to the starting point. Along the route participants throw sweets from the floats while music bands create a festive atmosphere. The definitive route for 2027 is still being finalised but will follow the established paths of previous years and again depart from the Rectorado.

Highlights include the magnificent throne floats of the Kings as well as thematic displays that combine local history and fantasy. The entire procession usually lasts into the late evening hours.
