Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026

The festival grounds open on 25 September 2026. Regular opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 12:00 to 23:00, Friday from 12:00 to 24:00, Saturday from 11:00 to 24:00 and Sunday from 11:00 to 23:00. On opening day rides start at 15:00, with the keg tapping at 16:00. Highlights include the large festival parade on 27 September, family days on 30 September and 7 October, and the musical fireworks on the final day. The beer tents feature daily live programmes with brass bands and party music.

Admission to the Cannstatter Volksfest is free of charge. There is no entrance fee for the festival grounds. Costs only arise for rides, food, drinks and table reservations in the tents.
