Welcome to Capodanno 2026/2027 in Milan

On the night of 31 December 2026 into 1 January 2027, Milan does not celebrate in one place. The city is staging its public New Year event in Piazza del Duomo, while club nights, hotel galas, rooftop parties and restaurant dinners run across Navigli, Corso Como, Porta Venezia, Porta Romana and Parco Sempione. As of mid-October 2026 the Duomo lineup was not published, and several clubs had not confirmed a 31 December 2026 bill on their own sites. The notes below use only what can be tied to a city document or a named venue.

Highlights & Attractions at Capodanno in Milan

• Piazza del Duomo, 31 December 2026: the City of Milan has confirmed the traditional civic celebration (live music, DJ sets, shows). The July 2026 public notice describes it as a free public event. Running order, stage times and artists are not set.
• Bianca Maria Palace Hotel, Viale Bianca Maria 4 (Porta Monforte, just east of the centre, near Porta Venezia): dinner from 20:30, listed at 180 euro per person, then a rooftop DJ from 23:00 to 02:30, with panettone, lentils and Franciacorta at midnight. A double-room package is listed at 600 euro per couple until 30 November 2026. These figures come from a booking desk, not the hotel’s own site — confirm with the hotel before paying.
• JustMe, Viale Luigi Camoens 2, Parco Sempione at the foot of Torre Branca: Thursday 31 December 2026 is listed with dinner, a midnight toast and an after-party. Prices were on request only in mid-October 2026.
• Hollywood, Corso Como 15 (Porta Garibaldi, MM2 Garibaldi): the club has hosted Corso Como’s New Year party for decades. The theme “Midnight in Hell” was for 31 December 2025. No programme or fixed prices for 2026/2027 were on the venue’s own channel in mid-October 2026; agency lists disagree with each other.
• Magazzini Generali, Via Pietrasanta 16, Porta Romana: the official calendar showed no Capodanno on 31 December 2026 as of mid-October 2026. The 2025/2026 edition was “Dubai Night Experience” (buffet 50 euro with two drinks, entry from 23:30 at 30 euro with one drink, until about 05:00, hip-hop, reggaeton and commercial hits, 18+, elegant dress code). That is the last confirmed edition, not a 2027 ticket.
• El Jadida, Via Carlo Bazzi 47, Porta Romana (near Lodi T.I.B.B. and Romolo): a “Thousand and One Nights” Capodanno 2027 offer with a Lebanese–Middle Eastern menu, live shows, a DJ set, midnight toast and dancing, reservation only. The detailed September listing says 90 euro all-in; a shorter listing from the same desk said 80 euro. Confirm the final price before booking.
• ATMosfera, ATM’s historic dining trams: regular dinner year-round at 90 euro per person (menu, wine for two, water, coffee), departures at 20:00 and 20:30, meeting point Piazza Castello. Check the booking calendar to see if 31 December 2026 is actually on sale. Private historic-tram hire (not a public party ticket): series 1503 or 1794 at 700 euro, K35 model at 600 euro, children’s tram TraMito at 550 euro, each for three hours depot to depot, book at least 20 days ahead.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2026/2027

There is no single city timetable. Listed dinners usually start around 20:00–20:30, club entry often after 23:00, and discos in recent years closed around 04:00–05:00. The City has not published hours for the 2026/2027 Duomo show. If you plan two stops, check the second door time and the last metro before you leave the first venue.

• Duomo and the centre: public celebration in Piazza del Duomo on 31 December 2026. Artists and start time are open. Booking desks also advertise restaurant dinners around the cathedral; without the venue’s own confirmation that is not a fixed programme.
• Corso Como and Porta Garibaldi: Hollywood, Corso Como 15, is the fixed club address. The last New Year bill was commercial, reggaeton and current hits, with a buffet option and a late-entry ticket. For 2026/2027, book only when Hollywood or an authorised seller shows the date 31 December 2026 on the ticket.
• Parco Sempione: JustMe under Torre Branca, Viale Luigi Camoens 2. The October 2026 listing is dinner, midnight toast, then a party. No published fixed price.
• Porta Venezia / Porta Monforte: Bianca Maria Palace Hotel, Viale Bianca Maria 4. Gourmet dinner from 20:30 (listed at 180 euro per person), rooftop DJ 23:00–02:30. The hotel is a city property with a roof terrace, not a five-star palace. “City-centre fireworks” in the listing describes the view, not a private firework show.
• Navigli: Alchimia, Via Francesco Brioschi 17, a loft restaurant and lounge. For Capodanno 2026 (the night into 2026) a dinner with magic and a DJ was listed at 125 euro. The same figure appears on a 2027 desk list; the restaurant had not confirmed its own menu for 31 December 2026 as of mid-October 2026. Other rooms along Naviglio Grande and Naviglio Pavese sell their own tables. There is no single street pass.
• Porta Romana: Magazzini Generali, Via Pietrasanta 16, a large club hall since 1995, capacity roughly 1,000. Without a date on magazzinigenerali.org, a 2027 Dubai night is speculation. El Jadida, Via Carlo Bazzi 47, is the party actually written up on this side of town: a menu from falafel, hummus and couscous to bastilla, a live show and a DJ, list price 90 euro.
• Tram: ATMosfera is a moving restaurant in 1920s cars, not a club. Private hire of historic cars is a group booking, not a single ticket to a public disco.

Tickets & Admission for Capodanno Milan

There is no central ticket. The Duomo event is described as free in the City’s July 2026 notice; final access rules (bag checks, closed streets) come only with the published programme. Paid formulas that can be tied to a venue: Bianca Maria Palace at 180 euro per person, or 600 euro per couple with a room (promo until 30 November 2026, via a booking desk); El Jadida listed at 90 euro all-in; ATMosfera at 90 euro per person on the ATM booking page; tram charter at 550 to 700 euro for the whole car. JustMe is on request only. Magazzini Generali and Hollywood: prices copied around the web (about 30 to 50 euro entry, tables from several hundred euro) come from earlier New Year’s Eves or from conflicting agency lists and do not automatically apply on 31 December 2026. Pay only when the date, venue and what is included are on the receipt. Door selection, an original ID and 18+ entry are normal in Milan clubs.

Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Milan

• Getting there: Duomo is on M1 and M3. Hollywood and Corso Como: M2 and M5 Garibaldi, plus the suburban rail. Magazzini Generali and El Jadida: Porta Romana, Lodi T.I.B.B. or Romolo, then a walk. JustMe: Lanza, Cairoli or Cadorna, then through Parco Sempione. The ATM night schedule for 2026/2027 is not published yet. On New Year’s Eve 2025/2026 the metro ran a Saturday timetable on 31 December, then night buses. Taxis and ride-hailing thin out after midnight; book the ride back.
• Weather: late December in Milan is often about 0 to 8 °C, wet and windy in Piazza del Duomo. Take a coat for outdoors and a lighter layer for the club or rooftop. The Bianca Maria roof terrace is cold until 02:30.
• Where to stay: New Year’s Eve sells out. Lock a room near the Duomo, Brera, Porta Venezia or Porta Romana first. The Bianca Maria Palace room package (listed at 600 euro per couple including two dinners, the rooftop and breakfast, late check-out subject to availability) should be confirmed with the hotel. If you dance until 05:00, do not count on the first metro around 06:00.
• ZTL and the door: the centre’s limited-traffic zone still applies on New Year’s Eve. Clubs select at the door; bring the original ID, not a photo. Tables often mean a minimum spend and a bottle, not just a seat. Re-entry is not guaranteed.
• What is still open: the Duomo lineup and start time, the club nights at Hollywood and Magazzini Generali, and many rooftops are usually announced only in November or December. Do not treat a listing as confirmed unless it shows 31 December 2026 on the venue’s own page. Check ATMosfera seats for that night on the ATM calendar separately; holiday dates are sometimes closed.
