Welcome to Capodanno 2026/2027 in Naples
New Year’s Eve in Naples, from 31 December 2026 into 1 January 2027, is a set of separate parties rather than one concert: the city programme in the squares, an open-air disco on the waterfront, a dinner-show in Chiaia and dance nights in historic halls. As of mid-October 2026 most of the city’s established nightclubs had not published a lineup. This guide lists only dates, addresses and prices that are already public, and marks everything else as unconfirmed.
Highlights & Attractions at Capodanno in Naples
- Piazza del Plebiscito, 31 December 2026: city concert with a comedy show. Cast and start time are not yet published. Recent editions were free; 2026/2027 admission has not been officially confirmed.
- Lungomare Caracciolo, the night of 31 December and the afternoon of 1 January 2027: planned DJ sets and an open-air disco. No DJ names yet. This is the city’s outdoor dance floor, not a single club.
- 30 December 2026: the city call includes an urban and rap contest. The exact spot within Plebiscito or the waterfront, and the lineup, are still open.
- VIC'STREET, Via Giuseppe Martucci 44, Chiaia: New Year dinner with a live show, 20:00 to 01:30. Regular price 180 euro per person; the 150-euro offer ended on 5 October 2026.
- Naples HNY27, 31 December, Foyer of Salone Margherita, Via Santa Brigida 67: tango milonga with a midnight toast. Dinner plus dancing 70 euro, milonga only 15 euro. DJ Matteo Marotta.
- 1 January 2027, Salone Margherita, Via Giuseppe Verdi 6, from 17:00: milonga with a pasta party, 15 euro. DJs Claudia Di Benedetto and Ana Carolina Di Monaco.
- 2 January 2027, Imperial Club, Via San Romualdo 33: milonga from about 21:00, contribution listed as 12 or 13 euro depending on the language version. DJ Sabino Cirulli. Outside the core night, but part of the same weekend.

Program & Schedule: What to Expect in 2027
On 30 May 2026 the City of Naples published a call for artistic proposals for “Capodanno a Napoli 2026-2027”, with a deadline of 26 July 2026. The brief covers 30 and 31 December 2026 and 1 January 2027 at Piazza del Plebiscito and along Lungomare Caracciolo: an urban/rap contest on the 30th, a concert and comedy show at the Plebiscito on New Year’s Eve plus a DJ marathon by the sea, and further DJ sets on the afternoon of 1 January. No national lineup had been released by mid-October 2026. Fireworks over Castel dell’Ovo, often around 02:15 in previous years, have not been announced for 2027. Names from Capodanno 2025/2026 should not be treated as this edition’s bill.
Away from the squares, these parties are already on record one by one. VIC'STREET at Via Giuseppe Martucci 44 (Chiaia, near Piazza Amedeo) runs a Neapolitan dinner-show on 31 December from 20:00 to 01:30, with a company led by chansonnier Ciro Gargiulo and dancer Dalia Deya: cabaret, tarantella and local food, not a club until dawn. Naples HNY27, the second edition, is a tango weekend, not a disco. On 31 December the Foyer of Salone Margherita (Via Santa Brigida 67) serves dinner from 21:00 by reservation only, opens the milonga to registered dancers from 22:30, toasts at midnight and plays until the last couple, with DJ Matteo Marotta. On 1 January dancing starts at 17:00 inside Salone Margherita (Via Giuseppe Verdi 6), with a pasta tasting around 21:00 and a milonga afterwards; DJs are Claudia Di Benedetto in the afternoon and Ana Carolina Di Monaco at night, at 15 euro. On 2 January the Milonga Bombonera is at Imperial Club, Via San Romualdo 33, starting at 21:00 or 21:30 depending on which version of the listing you read, with DJ Sabino Cirulli, at 12 or 13 euro.
Further out, two venues have set prices but not a music bill. Living in Varcaturo (Giugliano in Campania) starts its dinner at 20:00 on 31 December: 100 euro per adult, 40 euro for children aged 4 to 12, free under 4. Menu and entertainment are still being updated. TYPE, Via Campana 231 in Pozzuoli, is the after-midnight disco from 01:30 on 1 January, over-18s only, 25 euro including one drink; tables on request, lineup still open, with an early-booking note before 25 December. Many central clubs had not published a 2026/2027 New Year’s bill by mid-October 2026. If you want a specific DJ, wait until that club confirms the night itself.
Tickets & Admission for Capodanno Naples
There is no single box office. The city programme was free in recent years; whether Plebiscito and the Lungomare are free again in 2026/2027 has not been stated in writing. Private nights, all figures in euro: VIC'STREET 180 per person (the 150 early rate applied only until 5 October 2026). Naples HNY27: 70 for milonga plus dinner on 31 December, 15 for the milonga only, 15 on 1 January at Salone Margherita including pasta, and 12 or 13 on 2 January at Imperial Club, via the organisers’ own registration, not via the city. Living Varcaturo: 100 for adults. TYPE Pozzuoli: 25 with a drink, ages 18 and over. Hotel packages that do not name the hotel or fix a menu price are not treated here as confirmed. Pay the venue, or the city once it publishes the official route.
Visitor Tips: Travel & Accommodation in Naples
- Reach Plebiscito and Galleria Umberto on Metro Line 1 (Municipio, Toledo, Dante). VIC'STREET is by Piazza Amedeo. Pozzuoli is on the Cumana railway; Varcaturo is on the north coast and is not a walk from the centre. Driving into the closed city centre on New Year’s Eve is usually the worst option.
- Late December by the sea is often about 8 to 14 degrees, with wind and possible showers. Take a coat for the open-air disco, and smarter clothes plus comfortable shoes for VIC'STREET and the milongas.
- Reserve dinner-shows and the tango dinner early. Naples club lineups often appear only in November or December; an empty bill is not proof that a club is closed.
- Do not lock in a fireworks plan. Time and launch point for 2027 are unpublished. In past years the official show left from Castel dell’Ovo and was visible from the Lungomare, Posillipo and Vomero, but that returns only when the city confirms it.
- Plebiscito, the waterfront, Chiaia and Pozzuoli are four different nights, not one continuous party. Changing venue after midnight takes time, and road closures are likely. Keep valuables close; the squares get very crowded.
