Welcome to the Chania Rock Festival 2026
On 1 and 2 August 2026, Crete hosts the 24th edition of the Chania Rock Festival. The venue is the Theatro Anatolikis Tafrou (East Moat Theatre), set right against the Venetian fortifications of Chania's Old Town. The festival is one of the oldest and best known rock and metal events in Greece and forms part of the Chania Summer Festival.

Program
On day one, 1 August, the line up features Therion (Sweden, exclusive European show), Destruction (Germany), Enemy of Reality (Greece), Disease Illusion (Italy) and Sense of Fear (Greece). Day two, 2 August, brings Lacuna Coil (Italy), Crimson Glory (USA), ETJM (Spain), Ars Notoria (Cyprus) and Veil Omega (Greece). Gates open in the early evening, with headline sets usually taking the stage around midnight.
Tickets
A single day ticket costs 44 euros, while a two day pass costs 83 euros. Children up to 12 years old enter free of charge. Tickets are available online through the official website as well as at selected box offices in Chania.
