Christkindlmarkt at Sendlinger Tor
This smaller traditional market at the historic city gate is expected to run from 20 November to 22 December 2026. It features a cosy atmosphere, crafts and culinary offerings and is ideal for a relaxed visit.
Bogenhausen Christmas Magic Forest
In the Bogenhausen district in front of the Cosimabad, a light forest with mulled wine festival is created. Typically open from mid-November to early January, it offers a quieter alternative with illuminations, fire installations and numerous mulled wine varieties. Free entry.
Great Swedish Christmas Market
In December 2026 this market presents Scandinavian traditions, Glögg, Lussekatter and handmade products. A special highlight are the Lucia celebrations and Swedish specialties.
The Munich Feuerzangenbowle near Isartor
